Hypnotherapy can be a powerful and useful tool in allowing us to control our weight, whether that is to maintain, increase or decrease our weight. Unlike dieting, hypnotherapy concentrates on healthy balanced eating and lifestyle which takes the focus off deprivation. Generally, when we are feeling like we are being deprived of something we begin to obsess about that thing and find ourselves trapped in a cycle of obsession and deprivation. Hypnotherapy helps to focus you on your goal and concentrate on the positive aspects of controlling your intake of calories, increasing your energy and increasing your confidence in yourself and your ability to achieve a weight you are happy with.
Depression/Anxiety/Stress
Most of us at some point in our lives suffer to a higher or lower degree, from depression, anxiety and stress. This can be as a result of specific circumstances or can be a 'build up' of difficulties, for some it becomes almost a 'learned behaviour' and we get stuck in a negative cycle of thoughts, actions and symptoms. Hypnotherapy can breaks the negative cycle of depression, anxiety and stress allowing us to become more positive, feel calmer and more organised, it allows us the space to re-organise our thoughts into a more productive pattern. In our Initial Consultation a full explanation of how and why these sleep problems occur will help you to begin to understand the solution to your sleep problems including the problem of nightmares. With the free relaxation CD every client receives at their Initial Consultation, improvements are seen very quickly. The number of sessions required for sleep problems can vary from 1-10 depending on the severity of the problem and any possible underlying problems.
Fears/Phobias
With Hypnotherapy straightforward fears and phobias can be very quick to treat. An Initial Consultation followed by 3 sessions are usually all that is required to treat your phobia. The technique is very relaxing and positive. The Initial Consultation explains how your fear/phobia has evolved and how your mind has supported the belief that, whatever your fear or phobia, it is to be feared and/or avoided. We focus very much on your preferred behaviour when faced with the object of your fear or phobia and therefore do not look at what may have caused the negative feelings you have. The details of your experiences of these feared/phobic situations can remain private; as your Hypnotherapist I would only have to know how you would like things to be in the future.

Many of us suffer from a lack of confidence in one area of our lives or another. A lack of confidence can restrict us in living our lives to the fullest. We may try telling ourselves we are confident, or try to act confident to overcome this difficulty, only to find ourselves trembling internally and losing even more confidence. Hypnotherapy can enable us to believe in ourselves by ensuring the subconscious believes in us. The number of sessions will vary from client to client.
Stop Smoking
Hypnotherapy is often most popularly known for treating addictions, most notably smoking. For the client who wants or needs to break their addiction to tobacco, Hypnotherapy is extremely effective and fast acting. For smoking cessation a 2 hour session is needed.
Past Life Regression
